Attorney Zandra Johnson was born and raised in Greenville, South Carolina and educated by its public school system. After graduating from Hillcrest High School, Ms. Johnson attended South Carolina State University in Orangeburg. After graduation from college, she came back to Greenville and worked for a local yarn mill and as a legal secretary for a local attorney until she was accepted to St. John’s University in New York. After graduating from St. John’s in 2003, Ms. Johnson returned to Greenville to work for one of the city’s largest and most prestigious firms. Ten years later, in November 2013, Ms. Johnson realized one of her dreams by opening up her own law firm in the heart of her hometown.
As a first generation college graduate and the first in her family to hold a professional degree, Ms. Johnson prides herself on her ability to recognize and understand the needs of her clients. Ms. Johnson attributes her ability to connect with and understand her clients to her varied life experiences and circumstances.
Ms. Johnson is an experienced litigator, negotiator and counselor and during her ten year career has represented both individuals and businesses in courtrooms and boardrooms across the state of South Carolina. Ms. Johnson’s work as an attorney has secured her an AV Preeminent rating from Martindale Hubbell.
Ms. Johnson was taught by her grandmother and mother early on in life that to whom much is given, much is expected. In recognition of that, Ms. Johnson has been and continues to be actively involved in the community by serving on non-profit agency boards, committees and community service organizations. Ms. Johnson is very passionate about empowering youth to excel in life by stressing the fact that circumstances do not dictate who or what a young person will ultimately become. She is a frequent speaker at local elementary, middle and high schools and may often be seen mentoring socioeconomically disadvantaged and at-risk youth.
